Learn MoreCare Coordinator plays a critical role in improving trauma patient outcomes by identifying opportunities for system improvement and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across the hospital. This position offers strong exposure to trauma program leadership, quality improvement processes, and national trauma standards while maintaining a stable day-shift schedule. It is an excellent opportunity for nurses interested in advancing into trauma program or healthcare quality leadership.
Full-Time - 1.0 FTE/80 Hours Biweekly
Day Shift - 0700-15:30
General Summary
Oversees the clinical care provided to the trauma patient in collaboration with the Medical Director, Trauma Services and the Trauma Program Coordinator. Ensures that nursing care and treatment is administered in accordance with physician instructions and in compliance with established standards, practice and regulatory requirements of the Pennsylvania Trauma Systems Foundation (PTSF) and other agencies.
