Our commitment to community care is further demonstrated through our technical and logistical support to home health agencies, rapid testing services for outpatient dialysis centers, and collaborations with free and low-cost clinics. Additionally, we provide wellness screenings for community employers, promoting preventive care and overall well-being.
We serve eight hospitals, 38 outpatient collection sites and 65 skilled nursing/assisted living facilities. We offer home venipuncture services in select areas of York and Gettysburg, if requested by provider, and service nursing homes systemwide.

Excellence is at the core of our laboratory services. Our dedicated team of approximately 650 team members ensures accurate and timely results for our patients. We offer training programs for Medical Laboratory Science and Phlebotomy, providing opportunities for individuals interested in pursuing a new career in the medical field.
With our doctoral staff providing consultative services, we support clinicians and staff in proper test ordering, adherence to current standards and staying up to date with advances in testing. Our expertise extends to frozen section support in both inpatient and outpatient surgical suites, enabling prompt and accurate diagnoses.
We operate blood donor centers in Lebanon and York counties, ensuring a steady supply of life-saving blood products. By overseeing or providing consultative services for all point-of-care testing throughout WellSpan, we maintain quality and consistency in patient care. As leaders in our field, we also perform on-site CAP accreditation surveys at other CAP-accredited laboratories, sharing our expertise and promoting excellence in laboratory services.
