General Summary

Provides a wide range of preventive and acute health care services to individuals of all ages. The Physician performs acts of medical diagnosis or prescription of medical therapeutic or corrective measures.

WellSpan Nephrology is a comprehensive practice serving Cumberland and Franklin Counties. This well-established group is highly respected and has a strong referral base within south-central Pennsylvania. Our strategy has been team-based and focuses intently on safety, value, innovation and integration within our health system.

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) Required or
  • Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Required

Licenses:

  • Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon Upon Hire Required or
  • Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Upon Hire Required

Courses and Training:

  • Boarded in appropriate specialty. Upon Hire Required and
  • Completion of a residency. Upon Hire Required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Teaching skills.
  • Must have high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.
  • Working knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Good phone skills.
  • Excellent Customer Service.
  • Organized, sets priorities, and able to multi-task.
