Senior Vice President & Chief Marketing and Communications Officer

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior Vice President & Chief Marketing and Communications Officer to lead our integrated marketing and communications function. This critical role is responsible for translating our strategic plan into comprehensive strategies that differentiate the WellSpan Health brand. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving market-leading results and fostering a supportive, highly engaged team culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive communication and marketing strategies that align with WellSpan Health's business objectives and drive measurable results.
  • Lead brand management efforts to ensure a strong, consistent brand identity across all materials and channels.
  • Oversee systemwide marketing, communications, creative services, and public relations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of marketing and communications efforts.
  • Develop data-driven approaches to inform strategy and measure impact.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the executive team, providing strategic counsel and insights.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including media, community leaders, and healthcare partners.
  • Continuously assess and improve team performance, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
  • 15+ years of experience in a large and complex setting, with a proven track record of driving market-leading results.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Deep understanding of current healthcare issues and trends.
  • Experience in developing and executing comprehensive communication and marketing strategies.
  • Strong leadership and mentorship skills.
  • Ability to manage brand identity and lead marketing and communication efforts.
