Vice President - Strategy and Growth

We are seeking a visionary leader to join our team as the Vice President of Strategy & Growth. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of healthcare within a dynamic and growing organization. Key responsibilities include:

  • Strategic Leadership: Drive the development and execution of long-term strategies, focusing on high-impact initiatives.
  • Market Insight: Conduct and communicate market assessments to inform strategic decisions.
  • Growth Strategies: Design and implement value-based growth strategies, identifying new business opportunities and partnerships.
  • Customer Focus: Evaluate market and customer needs, guiding the development of responsive programs and services.
  • Acquisition Strategy: Collaborate with senior executives on acquisitions, ensuring financial and strategic alignment.
  • Business Development: Create a streamlined framework for business development activities.
  • Well at Work Leadership: Lead WellSpan's employer services, including portfolio development, sales, and operations.
  • Strategic Alliances: Develop partnerships to enhance patient care and quality.
  • Innovative Models: Implement innovative business models to drive growth and introduce new technologies.
  • Matrixed Leadership: Influence cross-organizational relationships to drive business development.
  • Reputation and Expertise: Establish a strong reputation as a strategic leader in complex business development.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare management, or a related field. (Required) Master's Degree in business, healthcare management, or a related field. (Preferred)
  • 10+ years of progressive senior operational leadership experience in a large healthcare institution of similar size and complexity to WellSpan Health.
  • Extensive experience in strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, business development, and decision support activities.
  • Experience in a multi-hospital system.
  • Proven experience collaborating with senior leadership teams and presenting to boards.
