General Summary

Provides a wide range of preventive and acute health care services to individuals of all ages. The Physician performs acts of medical diagnosis or prescription of medical therapeutic or corrective measures.

WellSpan Health is an integrated health system serving the communities of central Pennsylvania and northern Maryland. We are actively seeking a full-time urologist for our York, PA group.

Position Highlights:

  • Employed position with a large top-rated community health system
  • General Urology with active robotics program in place
  • Established practice with existing patient demand and large referral network including robust oncology and prostate programs
  • Top technology using AI for many diseases and critical state identification

  • APP support in practice and hospital

Qualifications:

  • Must possess or have ability to obtain a PA state medical license and be board certified or qualified in urology

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) Required or
  • Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Required

Licenses:

  • Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon Upon Hire Required or
  • Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Upon Hire Required

Courses and Training:

  • Boarded in appropriate specialty. Upon Hire Required and
  • Completion of a residency. Upon Hire Required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Teaching skills.
  • Must have high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.
  • Working knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Good phone skills.
  • Excellent Customer Service.
  • Organized, sets priorities, and able to multi-task.
