Urogynecology and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery

Southcentral Pennsylvania

 

WellSpan Health, a sophisticated medical community in southcentral Pennsylvania, is seeking a third fulltime specialist in Urogynecologic/Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstruction Surgery to support outreach to new sites in Lancaster and Lebanon counties. This is an opportunity to join a well-respected medical group with low physician turnover.  WellSpan Health is a top rated integrated health system and tertiary care center with a focus on a high-quality patient care.

 

About the Position

  • Fulltime position with inpatient and outpatient responsibilities
  • Successful candidate will join two experienced physicians and two CRNPs
  • Opportunity to provide care in a comprehensive Pelvic Floor Program
  • Fellowship training, board certified/eligible in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery is required
  • Advanced laparoscopic/robotic surgical skills are preferred
  • A large referral base of 1,500 employed providers assures plenty of complex cases
  • Opportunities for resident teaching in York Hospital’s OB/GYN Residency Program
  • York Hospital is also a Regional Campus for Drexel University College of Medicine
  • Successful candidate will be energetic, compassionate and self-motivated
  • A keen knowledge of diagnostic, therapeutic and surgical options for female urinary incontinence is required
