Job Description:

Works closely with Talent Acquisition leadership and hiring leaders to understand the Health System’s staffing demand needs and develop a proactive, innovative assessment and recruitment strategy to identify, recruit, select and onboard the industry’s top talent. This full cycle recruiting role will manage an efficient demand-schedule process for high volume/entry level and service-related positions. Become an industry expert and develop relationships with key leaders. Develop an ongoing candidate relationship management program to effective pipeline and recruit candidates for volume applicant flow roles. Be recognized as a leader and innovator in delivering a customer-centric and efficient candidate experience.


Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Works closely with the Talent Acquisition Leadership to understanding the Health System’s staffing demand needs and develops a proactive, innovative sourcing and recruitment strategy to identify, recruit, select and onboard the industry’s top talent.
  2. When a particular staffing need is identified, meets with Talent Acquisition Leadership or directly with hiring manager to develop or recalibrate on a position profile and define appropriate delivery of service level agreements.
  3. Utilizes behavioral based interview techniques to efficiently assess candidate competency and eliminates unqualified candidates as early as possible in the process.
  4. Responsible for executing a proactive, innovative, cost-effective recruitment strategies including demand-based interviewing, to meet or exceed delivery service level agreements.
  5. Utilizes advanced Internet and phone recruitment techniques to identify and recruit the industry’s top talent (active and passive candidates) for Health System.
  6. Utilizes structured assessment techniques to assure candidates are qualified and interested in Health System and the position.
  7. Makes recommendations to hiring managers on the selection of the most qualified candidate.
  8. Responsible for managing the hiring process.
  9. Manages candidates who are referred by internal employees to ensure a positive candidate experience for referred candidates.
  10. Builds relationships and creates proactive candidate pipelines for future needs within lines of business supported.
  11. On a quarterly basis, works with Talent Acquisition Leadership to review key business indicators and works with Health System staff, management, Human Resources and Talent Acquisition team to identify, develop and deploy continuous improvement initiatives.
  12. Maintains knowledge of current Health System employee offerings, benefits, salary structures, etc. Provides Health System information related to culture and benefits to potential candidates, which promotes the Health System as both the provider of choice and the employer of choice.
  13. Participates in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of special projects.
  14. Maintains knowledge of current trends and developments in the field of recruiting.

  • Minimum Experience:
    • 2 - 3 years
  • Minimum Education:
    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of experience
  • Minimum Field Of Expertise:
    • Personnel/business administration or human services; Knowledge and application of Federal and State employment laws, regulations and legislation; Utilization of innovative sourcing, screening, and recruitment tools and techniques to recruit quality candidates
  • Preferred Experience:
    • Preferred Experience Healthcare
  • Preferred Education:
    • Sales, Marketing, Human Resources or related field
  • Skills:
    • Knowledge, experience and training in utilizing structured candidate assessment methodologies (i.e. – behavioral based interviewing) for candidate selection or related experience; Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, establish service level agreements and meets and exceed customer expectations; Excellent verbal and written communication skills, influencing, listening, fact finding and problem solving. Ability to effectively build rapport and relationships via the phone; Basic office automation computer skills, Microsoft Office proficiency in Word, Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint; Experience with applicant tracking, HRIS, and/or customer tracking databases to manage data and candidate relationships.
