Part Time (60 hours/2 weeks)
3 - 12 hour Night Shifts
Every Third Weekend Rotation/ No Holidays

Job Description:

Under general supervision, performs a variety of tests and studies related to the diagnosis and treatment of sleep-relatedbreathing disorders according to established standards and practices.

 

Duties and Responisbilities

  1. Schedules, performs and evaluates the technical validity of overnight sleep studies, nocturnal pulse oximetry, and other related studies.
  2. Sets up and applies polysomnographic monitoring devices, ensuring patient safety and accurate test results.
  3. Provides summary analysis/reports of all polysomnographic studies for physician review.
  4. Instructs patient in the home use of therapeutic devices.
 

Qualifications

  • Post High School Vocational/Specialized Training
  • Associate's Degree preferred
  • Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) in PA; CPR certification
  • 1 - 2 years experience required
  • On Job Training offered by department 
  • Registered Sleep Technologist preferred
