WellSpan Health, a sophisticated medical community in South Central Pennsylvania, is seeking a full-time radiologist (breast imaging) for a thriving group in York County. About the Opportunity

  • Seeking an ABR certified radiologist with fellowship training and/or clinical experience in breast imaging, mammography and/or interventions.
  • Our progressive Women's Center is a Center of Excellence and interprets over 35,000 mammograms per year diagnosing approximately 375 new breast cancers annually. We offer a full spectrum of services including Hologic 3D, Philips IU22 breast ultrasound, MRI, contrast enhanced mammography, pelvic and thyroid ultrasound.
  • Join a progressive and dynamic group of 40 radiologists including 5 fellowship-trained women's imagers, covering a Level 1 trauma hospital and Ambulatory Surgery Center. High-volume group reads more than 400,000 cases annually.
  • Group enjoys strong administrative, financial and IT support. System wide use of Epic EMR
  • Schedule flexibility with opportunity for remote and/or part time work
  • State-of-the-art and fully digital and department including PACS with integrated voice recognition (PWS360)
  • Excellent salary and benefits including relocation, student loan repayment and retirement
  • Base compensation of $460,000 - $475,000 plus competitive incentive plan and pay for extra work

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) Required or
  • Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Required

Work Experience:

  • Experience obtained during residency. Required and
  • Significant experience with computed tomography, magnetic imaging, and/or nuclear medicine/positron emission tomography. Required

Licenses:

  • Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required and
  • Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon Upon Hire Required or
  • Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Upon Hire Required

Courses and Training:

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible. Upon Hire Required and
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiology residency. Upon Hire Required
