Radiation Oncology Physician

About the Opportunity:

• Join an established practice with a skilled radiation team that includes nursing, therapy, dosimetry, and physics. The Cancer Center is also fully supported by a social worker, dietitian, navigator, and financial counselor.
• Flexible schedule-20 hours per week, 100% on site at Adams Cancer Center.
• Participate in system call rotation (approx. 1/11)
• Excellent support and referral base from specialty and primary care physicians in Adams County and surrounding areas from day one
• New Varian Linac installed in 2025.
• Adams Cancer Center is supported by 4 Medical Oncologists and 1 APP as well as an onsite Infusion Center
• Collaborative team of medical oncologists, breast surgeons, thoracic surgeons, and surgical oncologists
• Opportunities for career and academic growth within WellSpan as well as through our oncology collaboration with Johns Hopkins Medicine
• Access to proton therapy, including a visiting faculty appointment through a partnership with the Maryland Proton Treatment Center

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) Required or
• Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Required

Work Experience:

• Experience obtained during residency. Required

Licenses:

• Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon Upon Hire Required or
• Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Upon Hire Required

Courses and Training:

• Graduate of an accredited Radiation Oncology residency. Upon Hire Required and
• Appropriate training in radiation therapy and radiation safety. Upon Hire Required and
