WellSpan Health, a sophisticated system of eight hospitals, is seeking a full-time board certified or eligible Pulmonary/Critical Care physician to join our well-established practice in York, Pennsylvania.


About the Practice:

  • Full service consultative practice
  • Inpatient and outpatient Pulmonary/Critical Care
  • Join 17 experienced physicians and 10 Advanced Practice Clinicians (APCs)
  • Two additional APCs serve as dedicated nocturnists
  • Stable employment with WellSpan Medical Group (WMG)
  • WMG employs 1,600+ providers
  • York Hospital (YH) is a 600-bed, Level One Trauma Center
  • Tremendous support from hospital administration & medicine service line leadership
  • The hospital features a robust CT surgery program
  • It’s busy Emergency Department sees 85,000+ patients per year
  • 60-bed closed ICU with ECMO & EBUS
  • EPIC is utilized throughout the WellSpan system
  • Supported by a collegial team of medical & radiation oncologists
  • Opportunity to teach in YH’s Internal Medicine Residency Program
  • Large referral base of employed primary care physicians
  • 24/7 Hospitalist service handles admissions with dedicated Nocturnist coverage
