Provides nursing oversight of Community Clinic for Substance Use Disorders

Duties and Responsibilities

 

  1. Interviews patients and family members to obtain information about home environment, family relationships, health history, and patient's personality traits.
  2. Administers medications as prescribed.
  3. Coordinates care of assigned patients.
  4. Assesses patients' progress and modifies or extends treatment program accordingly.
  5. Documents current, accurate observations of care to the patient in appropriate records.
  6. Provides health care instruction/education to patient and family members. Facilitates group therapy.
  7. Assisting with medication checks.
  8. Provides support to nurse triage phone calls when appropriate.

 

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum Experience:
    • 2 - 3 years
  • Minimum Education:
    • Associate’s Degree from an accredited RN program
  • Preferred Education:
    • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited RN program
