Occupational Health Physician in Lancaster, PA

WellSpan Health is seeking a full-time Occupational Medicine Physician or Family/Internal Medicine Physician with experience in Occupational Health for our site in New Holland, PA - a borough of Lancaster County. Our Well at Work team integrates all employer services: EAP, Wellness and Occupational Health which sets us apart from other employers!

Position Highlights

  • No holidays, no weekends, no call and no evenings
  • Provide occupational medicine services including pre-placement evaluations, work-related injuries/illness, and fitness for duty/return to work evaluations
  • Oversee APPs, lab license and employer contracts
  • Certification to do DOT physicals required, familiarity with OSHA and NIOSH preferred

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) Required or
  • Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Required

Licenses:

  • Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon Upon Hire Required or
  • Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Upon Hire Required

Courses and Training:

  • Certification by an appropriate Board. Upon Hire Required and
  • Completion of an appropriate residency program. Upon Hire Required and
  • Must qualify and be a member of the Hospital Medical Staff. Upon Hire Required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Clinical skills and knowledge of emergency medicine techniques and occupational medicine.
  • Teaching skills.
