Job Description:

Under general supervision, performs a wide variety of administrative and business functions to support the successful operation of selected ambulatory service departments within the health system. Functions performed include, but are not limited to: strategic planning, budget and finance, marketing, quality analysis, process improvement, and support in establishment and implementation of departmental goals.


Duties and Responsibilities


  1. Directs and coordinates business operations activities for the department.
  2. Works collaboratively with the management team in an effort to integrate, standardize and improve upon the services offered within the department.
  3. Oversees revenue and expense functions of the department. Works with WellSpan Health Financial Services to assist with data analysis, reporting, and budgeting. Provides in depth variance analysis support to cost centers when necessary.
  4. Supports services contracts, including contracts with local businesses, schools, vendors, etc..
  5. Assists in marketing current and new services provided by the department.
  6. Collaborates with other System managers in the operation of the department.
  7. Monitors departmental activities, recording and reporting statistical data, including financial data, to determine profitability and identify areas for financial improvement.
  8. Facilitates and coordinates performance improvement initiatives.

    • 3 - 5 years
    • Contracting experience
    • Data reporting experience
    • Operations experience
    • Bi Lingual preferred


  • Minimum Education:
    • Bachelor's Degree


  • Minimum Field Of Expertise:
    • Healthcare or business administration


  • Preferred Education:
    • Master's Degree


  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, managerial and computer skills
