Manager-HR Systems and Projects
Job Description:
Under the general supervision of the Director - HCM Operations, manages the implementation and maintenance of human resources related data and procedures into electronic data processing systems. Provides information systems expertise throughout the planning, software selection, installation and implementation processes. Coordinates with appropriate groups/individuals in development of system objectives and requirements. Facilitates the selection and implementation process through the Project Management Team. Provides appropriate user training. Completes projects as assigned.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provides daily supervision for the HRIS support staff including performance management and recommendation for hire and termination.
- Acts as liaison with payroll staff.
- Assists in formulating project objectives and system development requirements.
- Assists in developing project plans and schedules, and in software selection and/or implementation.
- Keeps management apprised of project progress, problems and need for changes.
- Provides technical guidance and assistance to project staff and users.
- Establishes work schedules and priorities to ensure that work flow is controlled.
- Acts as liaison between appropriate groups/individuals.
- Ensures all work and documentation meet appropriate department/service line/project standards.
- Attends meetings as required, and participates on committees as requested.
- Performs other related duties as identified.
- Assists in developing budgets.
- Provides outstanding service to all customers; fosters teamwork; and practices fiscal responsibility through improvement and innovation.
Qualifications
- Minimum Experience:
- 5 - 8 years
- Min Field Of Expertise: Computer Science
- Lawson, HCM, or Oracle a major plus
- Minimum Education:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Skills:
- Other: Excellent interpersonal/communication skills; Basic computer skills
