General Surgery - Ephrata, PA


WellSpan Health, a sophisticated medical community in southcentral Pennsylvania, is seeking a full-time General Surgeon to join WellSpan Surgical Specialists - Ephrata.  This respected and well-established group enjoys a loyal physician referral base.


Position details:

  • Full-time, employed position with WellSpan Medical Group (WMG)
  • WMG employs 1,600+ providers
  • Must be board certified in General Surgery
  • At least five years of experience is required
  • Colorectal and/or Minimally Invasive Fellowship preferred
  • This collegial group is comprised of three fulltime physicians
  • General Surgery call is 1:3 (no trauma)
  • Surgeries performed at Ephrata Community Hospital (ECH)
  • ECH is a 130-bed hospital featuring award-winning nursing
  • Robust multispecialty robotic surgery program in place
  • Busy ED has 35,000+ visits per year
  • Collegial hospitalist team handles all admissions
  • ECH features ten newly renovated general ORs
  • Excellent administrative leadership and support
  • State-of-the-art outpatient office in suburban location
