General Summary

Provides clinical and administrative services involving primary medical care to patients in a family practice setting.

Looking for a more flexible schedule with no call and no patient panel? Join the Float Pool of Primary Care physicians at WellSpan Health. We are actively seeking a part-time, PRN, or full-time Primary Care physicians to join our Float Pool of dedicated physicians serving WellSpan's Lancaster County family and internal medicine practices.

Position Highlights:

  • Allows for a flexible schedule
  • Float to any of our PC practices in the Lancaster County to cover vacations, LOAs, vacancies
  • Will see mostly acutes and routines
  • No call and no patient panel
  • EPIC electronic health record
  • DAX - Dragon Ambient eXperience is utilized by some PC physicians. DAX is an artificial intelligence scribe that ambiently listens to the patient visit and generates a clinical note in the EPIC electronic health record for the provider.

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) Required or
  • Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Required

Licenses:

  • Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon Upon Hire Required or
  • Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Upon Hire Required and
  • Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required

Courses and Training:

  • Diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine or the American Osteopathic Board of Family Medicine, or Board eligible. Upon Hire Required and
  • Completion of a Family Medicine residency. Upon Hire Required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Administrative skills.
