Job Description

 

Under the general supervision of the Vice President of Supply Chain Innovation and Operational Support, responsible for the ongoing development and maintenance of all information systems hardware, software and analytics in support of Supply Chain operations, operational enhancement and risk mitigation of WellSpan Health including, but not limited to:

 

Duties and Responsibilities

Maintain systems and databases to:

  1. Support supply chain operations Enterprise Resource Production (ERP) system and ERP support systems
  2. Support process automation
  3. Enhance analytics and user experience with business intelligence (BI), artificial intelligence (AI), data science and machine learning (DSML)
  4. Support appropriate supply chain system integration/interfaces feeding other WellSpan departments, Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs), Service Providers, etc.

Establish and maintain electronic dashboards to:

  1. Monitor key performance indicators
  2. Identify and alert when control limits are exceeded
  3. Establish and maintain predictive analytics to:
  4. Forecast future supply and/or equipment needs based on seasonal and/or anticipated criteria/events
  5. Predict anticipated supply and/or equipment needs based on potential/actual disruptions to the supply chain coupled with service projections

 

Continually search for innovative ideas, concepts, software, etc., to improve WellSpan Supply Chain systems and further protect and secure the healthcare supply chain.

 

 

Qualifications

 

 

  • Minimum Experience:

    • :8 - 10 years in progressively more responsible management positions in IT system support/development.

    • Min Field of Expertise:IT system support/development preferably with some concentration in supply chain ERP systems.

  • Minimum Education:

    • :Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field.

  • Preferred Education:

    • :Master’s Degree
