Director-Enterprise Resource Planning Source to Pay

Location: WellSpan Health, York, PA

General Summary

Serves as the primary business owner and representative for WellSpan Sourcing and Purchasing within the ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) sustainment and optimization model. This role is accountable for stabilizing operations, continuously improving sourcing and procurement workflows, and advancing technology enabled capabilities across the procure-o -pay lifecycle in partnership with Supply Chain and Finance leadership.

Essential Functions:

  • Serves as the primary business owner for ERP-enabled sourcing and procurement processes within the sustainment and enhancement model.
  • Drives operational stabilization and continuous improvement by eliminating breakdowns, reducing rework, and optimizing system-supported workflows.
  • Leads defect triage and root-cause resolution to ensure permanent, prioritized fixes for sourcing and supplier issues.
  • Maintains comprehensive process documentation to support training, consistency, governance, and audit readiness.
  • Owns and manages the Sourcing enhancement roadmap, prioritizing automation, digitization, scalability, and compliance.
  • Partners cross-functionally (Supply Chain, Finance, IT, ERP teams) to define, prioritize, and deliver technology-enabled improvements.
  • Translates business needs into clear functional requirements and govern configuration changes, automation logic, and new capabilities.
  • Leads workgroups and teams to reduce manual effort, improve data quality, streamline workflows, and enhance user experience.
  • Establishes and operates governance for enhancement intake, prioritization, change control, and release readiness.
  • Defines and monitors sourcing performance metrics (adoption, cycle time, compliance, supplier enablement, data quality) to drive accountability and benchmarking.
  • Ensures enhancements meet internal controls, audit, regulatory, and data privacy standards while serving as an escalation point for complex issues.
  • Leads training, change management, and knowledge management efforts to drive adoption and inform continuous roadmap evolution.

  • Manages capacity and enhancement funding within approved budgets, balancing competing priorities through disciplined intake, governance, and transparent decision-making.
  • Promotes diversity, equity, and inclusion in supplier engagement and technology design, ensuring sourcing processes and tools support fair access and consistent outcomes.
  • Monitors employee experience and usability impacts of sourcing technology changes, escalating risks and adjusting approaches to support engagement and adoption.

Minimum Education:

  • Bachelors Degree in Business or Informatics Required

Work Experience:

  • 5 years Experience in Supply Chain ERP Support and oversight Required.
  • 5 years Experience in Manager Staff Required.
  • 10+ years Experience in Oracle Supply Chain ERP. Preferred

Courses and Training:

  • Certification in Supply Chain. Upon Hire Preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
