Job Description:
Under general supervision of the Manager-Imaging Operations, supervises personnel and assists in managing the Imaging Department daily operations. Provides imaging services. Performs duties as on call team leader and is able to train new staff.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Evaluates, for effectiveness, all services rendered and makes recommendations regarding addition and deletion of service.
- Develops and oversees departmental policies, philosophy, plan, goals and objectives.
- Maintains drug control for department, in conjunction with Pharmaceutical Services.
- Provides in service education for technologist and participates in instruction
Qualifications
- Associate's Degree from an accredited program in radiologic technology and training in computer tomography procedures
- CT Registry required
- 5 - 8 years experience required
