OB/GYN York - Stonebridge

WellSpan Health, an integrated not-for-profit health system serving the communities of South-Central Pennsylvania and Northern Maryland, is seeking a per-diem Certified Nurse-Midwife to join our growing OB/GYN team in York County. The organization consists of a multispecialty medical group of 220 care locations, eight hospitals, and a growing number of academic clinical affiliations. WellSpan Health is a team of 20,000 healthcare professionals committed to transforming the health of the communities we serve and educating medicine's next generation of Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers.

About the Position

  • Inpatient deliveries at York Hospital
    • Level I Trauma; 590 beds
  • PRN 24-hour call shifts

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

  • Bachelors Degree Required
  • Masters Degree Preferred

Work Experience:

  • 2 years Relevant experience. Required

Licenses:

  • Licensed Registered Nurse Upon Hire Required or
  • Registered Nurse Multi State License Upon Hire Required and
  • Certified Nurse Midwife Upon Hire Required and
  • Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required

Courses and Training:

  • Appropriate Clinical specialty certification from American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB). Upon Hire Required and
  • Graduation from an accredited school of Nurse-Midwifery. Upon Hire Required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Considerable degree of independent judgment.
  • Excellent interpersonal/communications skills.
