WellSpan Health, a sophisticated medical community in south central Pennsylvania, is seeking a full-time Board Certified/Eligible Interventional Cardiologist to join our established practice.

About the Practice

  • WellSpan Ephrata Community Hospital is a busy 130-bed hospital
  • The hospital features two state-of-the-art cath labs & a 10-bed ICU
  • The robust PCI Program was launched in 2016
  • 200+ PCIs were performed in the past fiscal year
  • Patients needing CT surgery transferred to WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital
  • ECMO & LVAD are available at nearby WellSpan York Hospital
  • Busy ED (40,000+ visits) & strong referral base ensures complex cases
  • The Ephrata area is growing exponentially

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) Required or
  • Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Required

Licenses:

  • Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon Upon Hire Required or
  • Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Upon Hire Required

Courses and Training:

  • Board-certified or eligible for board certification through a member board of the American Board of Medical Specialties or American Osteopathic Association. Upon Hire Required and
  • Completion of fellowships in interventional cardiology and cardiovascular disease through programs accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education. Upon Hire Required and
  • Must qualify and be a member of the medical staff of the hospital(s) in which procedures are being performed. Upon Hire Required
