General Summary:

Under the supervision of the Manager, Development Operations, provides end-user support and assists with strategies to support those that use WS Philanthropy systems to improve fundraising results. Responsible for providing data and analysis reporting to Philanthropy’s leadership team for use in the development and revision of fundraising strategies. Maintains overall responsibility for accurate, confidential donor information in Philanthropy systems.

Duties and Responsibilities:

   1  Assists with the analysis and documentation of business and user needs, and requirements for business solutions. Provides support for Philanthropy’s annual plan related to identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of constituents.

   2  Participates as an active member of departmental system projects, including responding to requests from staff, leadership, volunteers and vendors/consultants for reports and database inquires, as needed.

   3  Monitors daily activity of system users, assists with problem resolutions, and makes recommendations for enhancement requests to provide resolution to departmental issues. Conducts regular audits of gift and coding entry and identifies areas that require more resources or training.

   4  Builds queries, reports and exports of data from the systems. Prepares regularly scheduled or special reports, analyses and statements including mailing lists, event-related needs, reports on donations and activity, and portfolio management needs. Processes mass updates and changes in the systems.

   5  Responsible for documenting business processes and procedures related to strategies that enhance and maintain the integrity of the philanthropic systems. Conducts testing of business processes, as needed. Develops training programs and materials for Philanthropy systems and related products. Coordinates any data mergers and related documentation.

   6  Coordinates data transfers with other departments, including, but not limited to communications with IS, Finance, Payroll, Patient Experience and Departments and Service Lines.

   7  Remains current on philanthropy-related technology and metrics to recommend new products and ideas to improve goal achievement.

 

 

Required Skills

 Minimum Education: Associate's Degree

 

 

Required Experience

 3 Years of Accounting, business administration, or computer science

Excellent communication/problem solving/analytical skills; some knowledge of systems analysis
