Our organization consists of a multispecialty medical group of 250 care locations, nine hospitals, and a growing number of academic clinical affiliations. WellSpan Health is a team of 23,000 healthcare professionals committed to transforming the health of the communities we serve and educating medicine's next generation of physicians, advanced practice providers and leaders.

Franklin County, named after Benjamin Franklin, was officially formed in 1784.
