WellSpan Health, a sophisticated medical community in York, PA, is seeking a full-time
Academic Hospitalist with a strong interest in medical education to join the faculty for the York Hospital Internal Medicine residency program. Consistently recognized as one of the nation’s 100 Top Hospitals for teaching and community hospitals, our successes have enabled us to attract a clinically-focused faculty who are passionately devoted to the education and development of young physicians.
About the Position
- Faculty position involves resident and student teaching in an inpatient setting
- Duties include: inpatient clinical supervision, curriculum development, quality improvement, medical simulation and mentoring residents
- Must be ABIM certified or eligible
- Outstanding schedule with protected administrative time
- Enjoy secure employment with a large health system that is comprised of a multispecialty medical group with more than 2000 providers and eight respected hospitals
- Academic appointments are available through affiliations with area universities
- No grant funding or research required
