About the Day-to-Day:

  • Manage laboring patients, deliveries, and postpartum care in a patient-centered LDRP model.
  • Address GYN emergencies and perform indicated procedures.
  • Provide supportive backup to CNMs, including occasional clinic coverage in the attached MOB.
  • Assist in complex surgical cases alongside a Gyn Oncologist when needed.
  • Partner with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality, seamless care for patients and families.

Practice & Facility Highlights:

  • Annual deliveries: ~700
  • Team composition: 1 OB Hospitalist, 4 Midwives (growing to 6) + PRN coverage, 2 part-time and 3 full-time OBGYN generalists
  • Specialty support: Maternal-Fetal Medicine (nearby), Urogynecology, GYN Oncology, Inpatient Neonatal Nurse Practitioners
  • NICU: Level III, 5 beds
  • Unit setup: 6 LDRP rooms in a cohesive, team-oriented unit; 2 Operating Rooms; 10 postpartum beds

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) Required or
  • Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Required

Licenses:

  • Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon Upon Hire Required or
  • Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Upon Hire Required

Courses and Training:

  • Completion of a OB/GYN residency. Upon Hire Required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Administrative skills.
