We are a well-established and growing private ophthalmology practice located in York, Pennsylvania, committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered eye care. As our practice expands, we are seeking a dedicated General Ophthalmologist to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive general ophthalmic care to a diverse patient population
• Perform ocular exams, diagnostics, and surgical procedures as appropriate
• Collaborate with the practice's glaucoma/retina specialist for comprehensive patient care
• Support practice growth, patient education, and quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• MD or DO with completion of an ACGME-accredited Ophthalmology residency
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Ophthalmology
• Fellowship in Cornea welcomed but not required
• Excellent clinical, surgical, and communication skills
• New graduates are encouraged to apply

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) Required or
• Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Required

Licenses:

• Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon Upon Hire Required or
• Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Upon Hire Required

Courses and Training:

• Boarded in appropriate specialty. Upon Hire Required and
• Completion of a residency. Upon Hire Required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Teaching skills.
• Must have high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology.
• Good phone skills.
• Excellent Customer Service.
• Organized, sets priorities, and able to multi-task.
