General Summary

Provides a wide range of preventive and acute health care services to individuals of all ages. The Physician performs acts of medical diagnosis or prescription of medical therapeutic or corrective measures.

WellSpan Health is seeking two BE/BC Otolaryngologists to join our well-respected practice in York, PA. We're a nationally recognized & fully integrated health system, having transitioned to Epic in all hospitals, outpatient centers & clinics. WellSpan Medical Group is physician led and strongly committed to safety, quality, innovation & provider well-being.

Position Highlights:

  • Enjoy working with an established group of 6 physicians & 2 APPs.
  • Practice features audiology services & has a team of 5 audiologists.
  • Full scope ENT practice with the option to specialize in areas of interest.
  • New graduates are welcome & will receive collegial mentorship from experienced partners.
  • Hospital coverage at York Hospital; 579- bed teaching hospital & level I trauma center
  • Facial trauma is not required.
  • Robust referral system of 2,500+ employed providers.
  • Designed for work-life balance with flexible scheduling & reasonable call.

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) Required or
  • Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Required

Licenses:

  • Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon Upon Hire Required or
  • Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Upon Hire Required

Courses and Training:

  • Boarded in appropriate specialty. Upon Hire Required and
  • Completion of a residency. Upon Hire Required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Teaching skills.
  • Must have high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.
  • Working knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Good phone skills.
  • Excellent Customer Service.
  • Organized, sets priorities, and able to multi-task.
