We’re partnering with Emerus, a leader in community hospital development, to launch state-of-the-art, small-format hospitals in Central Pennsylvania neighborhoods. It will significantly enhance emergency care accessibility in Cumberland and York counties, offering a prime opportunity for experienced Emergency Medicine physicians to lead in delivering high-quality, community-based emergency care.
Our new 24/7 hospitals will feature comprehensive Emergency Departments and up to 10 inpatient beds each, designed to streamline services, reduce wait times and provide exceptional care. These facilities will be fully licensed under the WellSpan brand and staffed by our own expert medical team with additional support from Emerus.
