Job Title: Cardiac Surgeon
Location: York, PA

What you can expect at your practice:
- Enjoy working in a dedicated Open Heart ICU and specialized Cardiac ICU providing comprehensive care for complex cardiovascular disease, including durable LVAD management
- Collaborate with highly experienced cardiovascular nursing teams across ICU, intermediate care, and dedicated cardiac units
- Large, high-volume multi-specialty cardiology group employed by WellSpan, offering advanced cardiac imaging, electrophysiology, interventional cardiology, and advanced heart failure expertise
- State-of-the-art 200-bed surgical and critical care tower under construction, featuring dedicated cardiac operating rooms and four hybrid labs

Qualifications
Minimum Education:
- Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Required or
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) Required
Licenses:
- Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon Upon Hire Required or
- Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Upon Hire Required
Courses and Training:
- Certification by the American Board of Surgery or American Board of Medical Specialties with experience as a practicing cardiac surgeon in the United States. Upon Hire Required and
- Successful completion of a General Surgery residency. Upon Hire Required and
- Must qualify and be a member of the Medical Staff of the Hospital. Upon Hire Required
