We are proud to announce the opening of the WellSpan Behavioral Health Walk-in Crisis Center at Loretta Claiborne - a service of WellSpan York Hospital - an innovative model designed to transform how our communities respond to behavioral health needs. These centers are part of WellSpan’s expanded crisis continuum and will open this spring in York County, with a future location planned for Adams County. Open 24/7, they will provide immediate, compassionate care for individuals of all ages experiencing acute emotional, mental or behavioral distress.
Our walk-in crisis centers offer a safe, therapeutic environment where patients receive both medical and crisis care without unnecessary emergency department visits. Every position plays a vital role in helping individuals and families navigate moments of crisis with dignity and hope.
