Job Description:

Under general supervision, coordinates workforce development programs and initiatives across the system as well as coordinates with external organizations. Leads the continual evaluation of workforce development efforts to identify opportunties for enhancements as well as results acheived.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

 

  1. Coordinates system-wide Workforce Development related services/programs/projects/initiatives.
  2. Ensures event/program materials, schedules, and program accreditations and affiliation agreements are current and well organized.
  3. Provides guidance and consulting services to organization in relation to Workforce Development services.
  4. Contributes to the enhancement of organizational performance through the appropriate and measurable evaluation of workforce development iniatives; Recommends changes as needed to improve process and/or outcomes.
  5. Effectively and efficiently leads workforce development team resources to meet learning needs.
  6. Coordinates workforce development projects and provides support for issue resolution for assigned team. Partners with stakeholders to implement project/plan execution. Coordinates team communications with project managers, leadership, project teams, and other stakeholders as appropriate.
  7. Contributes to the advancement of the organization’s workforce development process and programs, through remaining current as to to established and/or emerging best practices for efficient and effective workforce development programming.
  8. Leads as an agent of change, supporting department and organizational priorities as a role model to easily adapt as an early adopter of new processes, approaches, and incorporating technologies or new processes as appropriate to promote quality and efficiency.
  9. Supports Workforce Development related programs, including but not limited to; Scholarships, Forgiveable loans, Internships/Externships, etc.
  10. Provides coaching to system employees seeking assistance in Career Exploration related to future System careers.
  11. Provides consulting services to organizational leadership seeking support in developing employees for future System careers.
 

 

 

Qualifications

  • Notes:
    • Other combinations of formal education, training and experience may be considered.

 

  • Minimum Experience:
    • 5 - 8 years of experience in Workforce Development or related program coordination

 

  • Minimum Education:
    • Bachelor's Degree

 

  • Minimum Field Of Expertise:
    • Supervisory experience. Strong background in Workforce Development, Human Resources and/or Training & Development. Health care experience preferred.

 

  • Skills:
    • Able to lead complex, multifaceted programs and implementing training programs/ projects, Proficient in multiple platforms and desktop applications. Presentation skills. Strong project management, coordination, leadership and communication skills.
