WARM Line Support Technician - Mt. Gretna - Days

Job Description:

NOTE: This position is temporary and is dependent on ongoing grant support from the Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs lasting up to 1 year. It is a fulltime position and will be dedicated completely to the WARM Line Project.Under the general supervision of the WARM Line Coordinator, WS Philhaven, works with the Health System and community stakeholders in 5 counties to coordinate, manage and expand addiction services.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Support meeting the objectives of the WARM Line by helping to facilitate recovery coaching for 20 individuals or more with OUD or their families on a monthly basis.
  2. Support meeting the objectives of the WARM Line by helping to facilitate recovery and family support services for 20 individuals or more with OUD or their families on a monthly basis.
  3. Support meeting the objectives of the WARM Line by helping to facilitate weekly life-skills groups for 15 individuals or more with OUD.
  4. Support meeting the objectives of the WARM Line by helping to facilitate weekly family support and psychoeducation groups for 15 individuals or more who have been impacted by OUD.
  5. Support meeting the objectives of the WARM Line by helping to facilitate 10 or more referrals monthly to clinical services for individuals with OUD or their families.
  6. Support meeting the objectives of the WARM Line by helping to facilitate 10 or more level of care assessments monthly for individuals with OUD.
  7. Arrive for work on time and be ready to start working at the start of shift
  8. Always notify supervisor prior to the start of your shift if you are going to be late or if you are not going to be able to cover your shift
  9. Collaborate with supervisor to set and work towards achieving goals for professional advancement including actively participating in succession planning to ensure when you leave another individual is ready to assume your position.
  10. Participate in continuous improvement to ensure the relevance and agility of the WARM Line
  11. Ensure Safety for every situation is taken into consideration, referring and/or reporting individuals to crisis, 911, and PA Childline as needed.
  12. Develop and apply self-awareness/knowledge of self to quickly develop Rapport with individuals to include: Trust, Choice, Collaboration, and Empowerment.
  13. Ensures that all information is entered into the WARM Line Database accurately and completely
  14. Follows WARM Policy and Standard Work
 

Qualifications

  • Minimum Experience:
    • 1-3 months in a health-related field
  • Minimum Education:
    • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • Preferred Education:
    • Some college level social science credits.
  • Skills
    • Interpersonal skills, both verbal and listening, necessary to communicate effectively with others in the accomplishment of administrative and clinical duties as well as in community contacts
    • Analytical skills necessary for the interpretation of financial and performance improvement data, the design of treatment plans, and the evaluation of effectiveness and efficient of treatment programs
    • Analytical skills necessary in order to organize, plan, and direct the work of operational aspects of clinical programs, including implementation of the strategic, marketing, and financial plans for the program.
