Wellspan Health, a sophisticated medical community in southcentral Pennsylvania, is seeking a fellowship trained vascular surgeon to join a well-respected group. WellSpan is a fully integrated health system with a focus on a quality patient care, safety and physician well-being.

 

Position details:

  • Full-time, employed position
  • Board certification/eligibility in General & Vascular Surgery required
  • 3-5 years of experience preferred
  • WellSpan Vascular Surgery-York is a well-established group
  • 5 surgeons and a full complement of advanced practice providers
  • Reasonable schedule & call rotation
  • York Hospital (YH) is a 600-bed, Level 1 Trauma Center
  • The ED does 80,000+ visits per year
  • Transfers from 5 community hospitals ensure a steady stream of complex cases
  • YH has 8 residency programs including General Surgery
  • It’s also a Regional Campus for Drexel University School of Medicine
  • 21 operating rooms allow for ample block time
  • Surgeons have excellent radiology & anesthesia support
  • WellSpan Medical Group (WMG) employs over 1,800 providers
  • Transition to EPIC took place across the system in 2017
  • The group’s supported by an excellent office staff & Senior Practice Manager
