Job Description:

WellSpan Health is looking to expand its Applications Development team. We're looking for an enthusiastic skilled .NET developer to work in an agile healthcare environment who knows their way around the Microsoft .NET framework, Visual Studio, C#, JavaScript, SQL, Web API, mobile development and more. Experience with a front-end framework such as Angular or React is a plus


We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast paced, agile team environment. The Software Development Engineer will assist in developing/maintaining custom, in house applications touching areas such as patient portals, web/mobile applications, interfaces and more.


Duties and Responsibilities


  1. Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time and form of desired results.
  2. Provides technical leadership on complex projects.
  3. Designs, codes, tests and debugs complex computer systems.
  4. Interacts with project managers, application teams, customers and vendors through all phases of installation ofdepartmental and enterprise-wide systems.
  5. Has full technical knowledge of all phases of application systems analysis and design.
  6. Acts as a mentor to Systems Analysts and provides input to their evaluations.
  7. Assists management with decisions regarding departmental technical direction.
  8. Coordinates and contributes to strategic projects and to the overall technical architecture
  9. Coordinates projects across teams
  10. Coordinates research projects into new and leading-edge technologies
  11. Produces documentation relative to the coordination of projects.
