Job Description:

Under the general supervision of the Vice President of Total Rewards, and in partnership with the Sr. Director HR-Technology Operations and Analytics, the Sr. Director HR ERP Core Functions is a system-level position with the primary responsibility of driving transformation that will elevate the HR business culture leading in the definition of systems strategy, documenting business requirements, reviewing fit-gap analysis, business process designs, functional configuration, testing, and user training.

The Senior Director will be responsible for ongoing core HR HCM business function business support.  This senior director will also be responsible for HR compliance and Service Center processes

The senior director is expected to work closely with other institutional stakeholders and executive leadership in the effort to drive effective business processing and improve core HR business processing. 

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Provide leadership support in resolving issues and mitigating risks
  2. Continue to champion change within the HCM area and across other functional areas as needed
  3. Continue to participate and engage in program cross functional areas as needed
  4. Provide business leadership support and guidance within the HCM vertical
  5. Co-Lead UAT defect management and status updates to community/key stakeholders
  6. Provide business leadership support for ongoing HCM transformation and improvement
  7. Provide strategic leadership for Core HR operations support activity including HRIS/PMO, HR Service Center and HR Compliance
  8. Strong management and organizational skills with demonstrated experience measuring progress against goals and achieving stated outcomes.    
  9. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively lead and communicate with cross functional teams. 
  10. Ability to successfully negotiate and collaborate with others of different skill sets, backgrounds, and levels within and external to the organization.    
  11. Focused on continuous process improvement, while appreciating the implications of change on end users, as well internal teams.   
  12. Ability to be agile and comfortable managing through shifting priorities and competing needs.    
  13. Requires minimal direction from leadership and possesses the ability to learn quickly.    
  14. Role model for defined HR behavioral and technical competencies.
  15. Responsible assigned budgets.
  16. Functional professional with experience in Human Resource business processes. Preferred to have worked with HCM/ERP application such as Lawson or Oracle
  17. Prefer 5+ years of experience working with or designing business processes in Core HR: Hire to Retire, Employee Data Administration, etc.
  18. Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments a SDLC or Agile methodology
  19. Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills
  20. Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  21. Experience of working in health care industry is preferred

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Education:
    • Bachelor's Degree

 

  • Minimum Experience:        
    • 10 - 15 years industry, management, and ERP experience
    • Experience with large-scale ERP/HCM cloud implementations required
    • Experience leading complex projects and managing risk
    • Experience in HR functions, core business processes and best practices
    • Experience developing, managing, and coaching teams

 

  • Min Field of Expertise:       
    • Business Administration
