General Summary:

WellSpan Innovations is looking for a creative and qualified video/motion graphics artist to join their in-house Studio (A/V) Production department. Under the supervision of and accountable to the Director, Studio (A/V), the Specialist, A/V Production will oversee the creation, development, and production of video projects. We are looking for candidates with experience with camera operation and a unique point of view to take on a wide spectrum of challenging visual projects and bring them all to life.

 

Video generalists are a part of our videography team and help produce creative videos, animations and content to promote WellSpan’s messaging for internal communications, broadcast, digital, social media and other media channels. They are expected to deliver creative, innovative content with vision and unrelenting perfectionism.

 

The right individual must take great pride in their work and pay strong attention to detail. Applicants should have a strong understanding of video related programs, understanding of videography tools and design style. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while keeping organized. Applicants need to be able to work as part of a team and individually and be equally dependable with all parts of the process from conceptualization to execution.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with our creative teams in a fast-paced, detail-oriented and deadline-driven team environment
  • Establish and maintain relationships with project stakeholders and vendors
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the production process from conception to delivery, including camera operation, audio recording and video post-production
  • Think creatively at a strategic level
  • Generate creative multi-layer effects and possess the ability to create original 2D animations
  • Create broadcast-specific content as well as digital, social and internal video deliverables
  • Manage and address creative issues as they arise with efficiency and purpose
  • Motivate, lead, self-initiate, set objectives, manage performance and adhere to daily and weekly deadlines as well as the natural ability to self-develop and progressively learn to meet work challenges

 

Qualifications:

  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor’s Degree and with at least 5+ years of videography experience

  • Skills
    • Must have experience working with AfterEffects, Lightroom, Premiere, and Photoshop
    • Be immersed and knowledgeable in relevant current and past motion graphic designs and videography
    • Ability to proofread grammar, spelling, and punctuation
    • Ability to create commercial design work
    • Strong written and oral communication skills that show professionalism as well as being able to sell their work to clients
    • An open, positive and collaborative communication style
    • A solutions-oriented mentality
    • Exhibit a high level of accuracy and precision while maintaining a sense of urgency
    • Demonstrate strong organization, prioritization, and management of conflicting demands to meet deadlines; consistent follow-up.
    • Ability to both give and receive critique.
    • An implicit understanding of the value of diversity and equity in all phases of creative work.
    • The ability to work quickly and iteratively
    • Knowledge of the healthcare industry (services, finance, etc.) a significant plus
    • Able to navigate successfully and positively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where change occurs rapidly. Takes initiative and anticipates needs; responds accordingly.
