General Summary:

The Specialist, Production Management, under the supervision of and accountable to the Manager, Production Management, performs diversified duties to support WellSpan Innovation departments in resourcing and process architecting. The Specialist, Production Management is aligned with a specified functional area based on expertise and department need.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

1. Collaborate with department heads to ensure clear direction and expectations

2. Support the creation and refinement of departmental workflows, processes and reports

3. Manage the day-to-day flow of work within the departments through our project intake structure

4. Understand how changes affect resourcing, timelines, budgets, scheduling, etc.

5. Work with organizational administrative departments (Finance, HR, etc.) as needed

6. Report and escalate to leadership as needed

7. Exercise expertise in functional areas (R&D, creative, audio-visual, digital properties) for contribution to thought leadership across departments

8. Collaborate with other departmental producers for cross departmental resourcing, overall project management and planning

9. Coordinate multiple and concurrent projects to support the department in guaranteeing overall quality of work and ensure the projects are delivered on time

10. Maintain regular communication with departmental staff to obtain status updates on schedule and budget and to mitigate resourcing constraints and needs

11. Identify best practices and develop new systems/process/tools to support the team

12. Manage allocations and relationships across internal resources and vendors

13. Proactively identify ways to provide added value to the client through innovative solutions and savvy production management

14. Support development of project scoping, planning/scheduling of internal and external resources, estimating, and building project timelines

 

Qualifications:

 

Note: Other combinations of formal education, training and experience may be considered.

 

Minimum Education: Associate’s Degree

 

Preferred Education Bachelor’s Degree

 

Minimum Experience 2 – 4 years

 

Min Field Of Expertise Applicable program management, product management, project lead and/or innovation experience

 

Skills: Other Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication and computer skills
