Duties and Responsibilities

Essential Accountabilities:

  1. Establishes multi-stakeholder ad hoc team and sub-committees as needed to plan project.
  2. Works with team to develop mission and vision for the project.
  3. Researches other communities’ work and innovative models to inform ad hoc team work.
  4. Engages and coordinates technical assistance as appropriate.
  5. Develops and implements work plan for the initiative with measurable goals and objectives, activities and timeline under the guidance of the ad hoc team.
  6. Monitors program activities and, where appropriate, provider participation, recording, reporting and analyzing statistical data, including financial data.
  7. Provides training in topics such as trauma-informed care, motivational interviewing and other grant-related topics to spoke partners.
  8. Manages budget and expenses related to grant-funded and non-grant funded program costs.
  9. Establishes meetings and communication mechanisms between ad hoc group and WellSpan key leaders and other workgroups, building relationships and involving team members in the project.
  10. Continually evaluates progress and affects change as needed to improve.
  11. Identifies funding sources to support initiative until it is self-sustaining.
  12. Facilitates the development of an infrastructure that is sustained past the duration of the initial project start-up.

NonEssential Accountabilities:

  1. Participates in meetings and attends other meetings as assigned.
  2. Performs other related duties as identified.

  • Minimum Experience:
    • 2 - 5 years
  • Minimum Education:
    • Master’s Degree
  • Minimum Field Of Expertise:
    • Healthcare, Project Management, Communications, Community Collaboration, Addictions
  • Required Certification:
    • Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor; Certified trainer in Trauma Informed Care
  • Physical Demands:
    • Mostly sedentary work
    • Occasional standing/walking
  • Skills:
    • Ability to work across organizational boundaries; excellent human relations and oral/written communication and facilitation skills; ability to build consensus and work with diverse populations; strong leadership and project management skills; proficient in the use of basic computer software applications including word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation programs
