Position Summary:



General Summary:


Under general supervision, formulates/defines specifications for complex Application Data Integration (ADI) and Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) programming applications or modifies/maintains complex existing applications. Responsible for program design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation. Has full technical knowledge of all phases of ADI and EDI programming applications. Establishes and maintains communications within organization and with partners. Responsible for quality assurance review and the evaluation of new and existing software ADI and EDI products. Acts as project leader for projects with small budgets or limited duration.


Duties and Responsibilities:


1 Designs, codes, tests and debugs complex software systems.
2 Meets with users and vendors to determine specifications of particular integration needs.
3 Writes programs to meet project specifications and scope.
4 Prepares technical documentation for each program written and process automated.
5 Interacts with users and vendors through various phases of design, implementation, and maintenance.
6 Plans, conducts and supervises small, short-term projects.

Software Development Skills. Will consider recent grads as well.
