Job Description:

Provides executive support for the Senior Vice President of WellSpan Health. Coordinates and supports interactions between the various System and Hospital Boards, CEO, other System and Hospital executives and outside individuals and agencies.  Performs advanced, diversified and confidential administrative and secretarial functions requiring broad and comprehensive experience, skills and knowledge.


Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Provides confidential administrative support to the Executive and appropriate Board Officers including: managing an extremely active calendar of appointments, completing reports, composing and preparing correspondence that is sometimes confidential, arranging travel plans, and preparing meeting materials
  2. Maintains the Executive's daily appointment calendar; makes travel and lodging arrangements as required.
  3. Collects and prepares information for the Executive's use in discussions and meetings with executive staff members and outside individuals.
  4. Manages a variety of special projects for the President, some of which may have organizational impact.
  5. Takes and transcribes dictation of a highly confidential nature.
  6. Provides a bridge for smooth communication between the President's office and both internal and external stakeholders; demonstrating leadership to maintain credibility, trust and support.
