Registered Nurse - Behavioral Health Child Adolescent Inpatient - Varied Shifts

Full time (80 hours biweekly)
Varied shifts; 8 or 12-hour shifts
Every other weekend and rotating holidays
As a part of WellSpan Philhaven, the Child Adolescent Inpatient Behavioral Health Unit is situated on the main Mt Gretna, PA campus which is a tranquil setting with walking trails nestled within a picturesque forest and adjacent to an operating farm. Clients often comment that this campus provides an atmosphere of peace and serenity for them.
Child Adolescent Inpatient Behavioral Health Services consists of:
- 42 bed Inpatient Unit, providing psychiatric care for ages 4 through 18 including diagnostic assessment, stabilization, and individualized treatment programs
- Interdisciplinary team approach to care, providing a therapeutic milieu to provide a safe treatment space for our patients
- Therapeutic groups and family treatment with a multi-disciplinary group of staff

Position Function:
The Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable for implementing, directing and coordinating the care of patients through the use of the nursing process: assessment, planning implementation and evaluation. Included is recognition and treatment of the physical and psychosocial changes unique to the age/population group served on the specific unit.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Experience:

- Minimum Education:
- Diploma or Associate's Degree
- Preferred Education:
- Bachelors of Science, Nursing (BSN)
- Required Certification:
- Registration and current RN license in PA; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
