Job Description:

Under the direct supervision of a Senior Director or designee, provides psychological services under clinical supervision per relevant psychology licensing laws.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

 

  1. Provides assessments in a multidisciplinary environment, to make recommendations for diagnosis (DSM, ICD) and interventions.
  2. Conducts individual, couples, family and/or group therapy sessions as appropriate. Formulates and updates treatment plans and modifies treatment accordingly.
  3. Provides all necessary documentation to reflect patient care status and to meet regulatory requirements, completing documentation within organizational timeframes.
  4. Selects, administers and interprets psychological tests and writes psychological reports. Shares results with clients, referral sources and other relevant parties.
  5. Coordinates care of assigned patients with treatment team members and other providers, agencies or referral sources as appropriate.
  6. Demonstrates conduct that is ethical and professional. Operates within relevant laws.
  7. Responds sensitively to issues of individual and cultural diversity in practice.
 

Qualifications

  • Minimum Experience:
    • One-year psychology internship training experience is required.
  • Minimum Education:
    • Doctoral degree from psychology educational program and completion of a one-year doctoral psychology internship program.
  • Required Courses:
    • Must have completed a psychology doctoral degree and one-year doctoral psychology internship program; Must provide clearance per the Child Protective Services Law amended by PA Act 33 of 1985
