Weekdays, daytime hours and two evenings per week

Population served: Adults with mental health diagnosis 

Hybrid remote options available post orientation 

Sign On Bonus Options all paid in 3 weeks of start date: $7,500 sign on bonus and has a 3-year commitment OR $5,000 sign on bonus and has a 2-year commitment OR $2,500 sign on bonus and has a 1-year commitment

 

Job Description:

Under general supervision, provides psychological services. These include psychotherapy (individual, couples, group, and/or family therapy), psychological evaluation and testing and consultation services. Provides clinical leadership and input as requested to support treatment teams, committees, and organizational projects. Provides education and clinical supervision for psychology trainees and other clinical staff as requested.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

 

  1. Provides psychological evaluation and testing services in a multidisciplinary environment, including recommendations for referral sources related to diagnosis (DSM, ICD) and clinical interventions. Communicates findings to clients, referral sources and other relevant parties.
  2. Conducts clinical intakes and psychotherapy services, including individual, couples, family and/or group therapy. Conducts treatment and aftercare planning.
  3. Provides all necessary documentation to reflect patient care status and to meet regulatory requirements, completing documentation within organizational timeframes.
  4. Coordinates care of assigned patients with treatment team members and other providers, agencies, or referral sources as appropriate.
  5. Provides clinical supervision and/or educational trainings for psychology trainees and other students as requested.
  6. Develops and delivers professional and/or community education and training as requested.
  7. Leads and/or participates in organizational projects and committees as assigned.
  8. Demonstrates conduct that is ethical and professional. Operates within relevant laws.
  9. Responds sensitively to issues of individual and cultural diversity in practice.
  10. Provide supervision and mentoring in the APA intern program.

 

Qualifications

 

  • Minimum Experience:
    • One-year psychology internship training experience is required.
  • Minimum Education:
    • Doctoral degree from psychology educational program and completion of a one-year doctoral psychology internship program.
  • Required Certification:
    • Licensed to practice as a psychologist in PA
  • Required Courses:
    • Must have completed a psychology doctoral degree and one-year doctoral psychology internship program; Must provide clearance per the Child Protective Services Law amended by PA Act 33 of 1985
