Psychiatrist
WellSpan Health, a large integrated health system, is seeking a Psychiatrist to round on patients in Extended Care Facilities across five counties of South-Central PA. WellSpan Philhaven is a comprehensive behavioral health organization with 27 locations. Our organization serves over 25,000 individuals annually through innovative Behavioral Health programs and services.
Position Highlights:
- Employed position with WellSpan Medical Group (WMG)
- WMG is one of the most mature, well-established medical groups in the U.S.
- 2,000 + providers are employed by WMG & receive thorough EPIC training
- Geriatric Fellowship training is preferred
- Monday-Friday flexible schedule
- Daily census of approximately 10 patients
- 60-minute initial evaluations and 30-minute follow-ups
- Voluntary weekday and/or weekend call with additional compensation
- Support from Behavioral Health Service Line leadership & Director of Provider Affairs
- Psychiatrists, therapists & social workers enjoy a collegial work environment
