Inpatient – Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist with WellSpan Philhaven:

  • Inpatient unit nestled in scenic Mt. Gretna, PA
  • Mt. Gretna’s located in Lebanon County and just off the PA Turnpike
  • It’s very near Hershey and an easy commute from the suburbs of Philadelphia
  • NYC, Baltimore & D.C are all within a 2.5-hour drive
  • Lancaster’s Amtrak station & Philadelphia Airport provide nearby travel options
  • Dedicated team comprised of an RN/BSN, case worker, psychologists & psychiatric clinical therapists
  • Specialists are available for testing and consultation, as needed
  • Physicians typically carry a caseload of 13 patients
  • Average LOS is 11 days with flexibility based on clinical necessity & appropriate aftercare disposition 
  • WPH inpatient service has an excellent working relationship with payers, agencies & school districts
  • Our inpatient service is part of a broad continuum of child and adolescent services
  • WellSpan Philhaven offers a diverse staff, including 18 Child & Adolescent Psychiatrists
  • We offer 53 programs at 27 sites in southcentral PA 
  • The entire WellSpan system utilizes EPIC
  • Weekend on-call is voluntary & paid in addition to base
  • Flexible work options are available as desired
