Position Summary:

General Summary:


Under general supervision of the Training Manager (Project One), and working with Project One Application Coordinators, plans, assesses, designs, develops, delivers and evaluates curriculum for computer applications training programs for System staff. Develops and delivers training to internal and external customers. Participates on project teams. Exercises strong communication skills.


Duties and Responsibilities:


1 Conducts needs assessments and works with Training Manager, Application Coordinators and vendor to develop appropriate curriculum for courses.
2 Researches, selects and develops course materials.
3 Conducts training classes and seminars, prepares and maintains IT training environment.
4 Provides assistance as required for application build.
5 Provides training and credentialing for additional classroom trainers (Credentialed Trainers) to deliver end-user education.
6 Coordinates with Credentialed Trainers, Training Manager and/or vendors to courses within the organization.
7 Represents the System as a presenter, trainer and/or leader, and presents a strong belief in the value of the IT application implementation strategy.
8 Conducts ongoing evaluation of internal courses and updates/maintains all training documentation.
9 Attends appropriate vendor training and successfully achieves certifications required.
10 Coaches/mentors Credentialed Trainers and Super-Users.
11 Develops, organizes and facilitates online communication with learners to enhance training.
12 Develops and supports training using e.learning tools.
13 Maintains application proficiency to aide customers regarding production support.
14 Provides on-site end user support, as required.
15 Provides peer feedback to IT Education Manager, upon request.
16 May serve as IT Education project lead, coordinating IT Education efforts for customers
17 Communicates with Application Coordinators to ensure training environment preparedness.

Required Skills


Minimum Education            

Bachelor's Degree



Minimum Experience           

1 - 3 years in Adult Education experience or Masters Degree in Education. 

Certified in Epic (Preferred)

Background in scheduling and clinical front office work

Front office administration

Strong Analytics and reporting background





Req Cert/Registration: Applicable Epic Certification(s) for application(s) supported within six (6) months of hire Required certifications must be obtained in the stated time frame. Failure to obtain the required certifications could lead to termination.




Strong background in adult learning theory, pedagogy, and Instructional Systems design (ISD)

Proficient in desktop applications

Experience using multi-media tools for development and  delivery of e.learning preferred.

Strong understanding of clinical/operational workflows and application configurations

Project management skills preferred

Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills required.
