Outpatient Palliative Care Physician

York, PA

WellSpan Health, a sophisticated medical community in southcentral Pennsylvania, is seeking a part-time outpatient Palliative Care physician.  The successful candidate will staff two new Palliative Care clinics in York, PA.  

 

About the Position

  • Part-time employed position with WellSpan Medical Group (WMG)
  • WMG currently employs 1,600+ providers
  • Candidates with fellowship training in Hospice & Palliative Care are preferred
  • FP or IM physicians with an interest/focus in palliative care are also welcome to apply
  • The two new outpatient clinics will be an “embedded model” to promote patient access
  • Clinics will be located in the York suburbs
  • Physician will report to the Medical Director of Palliative Care
  • A palliative care CRNP and LSW round out the clinic staff
  • Large referral base of WMG primary care and specialty providers
  • Multidisciplinary team strives to avoid hospital admissions during last months of life
  • Excellent support from WMG leadership and an experienced Senior Practice Manager
