Full Time - Day Shift



General Summary:


Under general supervision, manages and coordinates daily inpatient or outpatient activities to ensure quality patient care, cost effectiveness and customer service. Ensures compliance with applicable regulatory standards.


Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Evaluates and recommends treatment and reporting methods for the department.
  • Consults with medical, nursing and administrative staff on a regular basis to coordinate patient care.
  • Monitors financial and clinical performance indicators. Acts or recommends action to improve performance in deficient areas.
  • Assists the director of pulmonary with strategic planning for the respective entity (inpatient or outpatient). Acts or recommends action for implementation of goals.
  • Identifies patient/client needs and develops quality programs to meet those needs. Ensures delivery of quality services for patients.
  • Ensures that appropriate standards and practices are developed and met.
Required Skills
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Master's Degree (preferred)
  • Current registration (RRT) and PA Licensure-Respiratory Care Professional (RCP)
  • BCLS certification


  • Preferred Certification/Registration - Registered Pulmonary Function Technologist (RPFT), Adult Critical Care Specialty (ACCS), Asthma Educator-Certified (AE-C), Sleep Disorders Specialty (SDS), Neonatal/Pediatric Specialty (NPS), etc.          
Required Experience
  • 3-5 years of management experience with a background in Respiratory Therapy
